Please help me pray for my dear friend as she battles against breast cancer. We will fight and we will win.
Thank goodness the second daycare was a 1000 time better. I've come to the conclusion though... if you are going to have a daycare at your house... its probably not going to be the cleanest of houses. The second one had tile and hard wood floors... and I think that makes the world of difference. Kids can get those dirty and then you can sweep and mop up... whereas the first place I went to had the nastiest of carpets... ewww...

I can't believe its Wednesday already. We have had the craziest of weeks this week and its only going to get crazier. Can I pose this question to the world... WHO DOESN'T PAY RENT? I mean really... isn't that the first thing you pay? Not my stupid renter...uggg... someday things are going to flow smoothly in my life... but until then... You know who... up there... is keeping me on my toes. Oh dear, I hear a squeek. I need to try and get some cleaning done VERY QUICKLY before Syd wakes up...

Happy things... found a good day care
Fun things... having Sushi tonight!!! WHOOOH.

Ciao for now!
Interviewing daycare is awful. First of all, I wish I could stay home with Syd forever. Second of all, is it too much to ask if you are charging an arm and a leg to watch my kid at your house, that you clean your house once in a while. Third it didn't help that at the last place there was a kid that was teething and was drooling all over the carpet and stuff animals and it was just grossing me out. I don't think it would so much if it were my own kid, but someone else's kid drooling all over... yucky. Well I'm off to interview another... wish me luck.

Lazy Dayz

It is such a weird feeling being at home with Syd. I try to keep the days activities to one or two where we need to get there by car. Only because although I'm with her all day, if most of the time is spent in the car then that's not really quality time that I get to spend with her. So we've

been going for walks on the beach and along the lagoon and some hiking trails in the morning and then spend the afternoon giggling and laying under the tree in the backyard or walking around the house talking about pictures or plants... okay, i do most of the talking at this point, but its insane how much she is taking in. Its such a weird feeling...part of me feels like I'm a lazy bum, but then the other part knows this is exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. One great thing that I've been able to do since I've been home is cook. I love to cook. I love to cook new things, but who has time? Well that is my commitment this year. Make time to do things like cook and eat at the dinner table and turn off the TV at night and just cherish our time together as a family in the evenings. The TV does not need to be on. If we want to watch some stuff at night after Syd is in bed, then we can, but until then... it stays off. Part of the new plan... was that I went to Costco for the first time in a long time... In the past we have been so bad with what we get from Costco and half of it goes to waste... but so I went and was determined that we would not let anything go to waste. They had two whole chickens for really cheap. So this weekend I roasted both chickens and was able to use the chicken for a number of different dinners through out the week. We made chicken tacos and then on Monday I cooked home made chicken pot pies. Yesterday I made home made lasagna. It was sooooo good. I can't believe I hadn't made it before. Definitely my new favorite thing...
Oh dear its getting late and I have to feed the little one before I'm off to book club. Here are a few more pics of my little love of my life. The big love of my life might be in a few of these too. =) Keep on keepin it on!!! Ciao!
