HOLY HOT YOGA!!!!

I LOVED IT!!!  OH MY GOSH, I CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!  Yoga my friend, I am back!

Holy Hot Yoga

Here I come... 5:30 am baby!!!!  I sure hope I don't die and that I enjoy it.  I'm not going to lie, last time I did it I thought it was the worst thing I ever did.  Little did I know that I was pregnant.  So with that I've decided I have to give it one more try.  I love yoga and so I just really want to like it... especially since they have a 5:30-6:30 class.  Wish me luck!!  Good Night moon!
I'm excited to report that Ol' white is not dead... YAY!!!

Late last week, PepBoys said that they thought the problem is with the computer and that we would have to have the dealer fix it. When we talked to a number of people, they said that we're looking at a couple thousand dollars. Oye Vey. So with Craig traveling so much he was only home on Sunday and it was not enough time to figure out what we're going to buy and finding something within our range. We decided with him leaving for NJ today and traveling most the week, that we would just rent him a car which should buy us a week to find a car. This morning after getting to work, I figured I would call the dealership and inquire about the cost and diagnosis. Long story short. Before his flight I had Craig meet the tow truck at the Jeep, had it towed to the dealership, where I met it. They diagnosed it, and guess what???? They called this evening and said it was a dilly doo, and it was only going to cost $330! OMG! I can't believe we were stressing ourselves out without a second opinion... So not like me. Remember, to always get a second opinion. DOH!

So fortunately, or unfortunately for Craig... =) Old White will be home from the doctor's tomorrow and Craig will continue to drive her at least till we can figure out what our new car is going to be. Any suggestions?

P.S. Anyone have suggestions for a crying baby? I tried Motrin for the teeth, teething tablets, milk, yogurt, and just holding her... and its not going so well. Its going to be a long night! My poor girl.... OH, I just heard a snore. oooh, I'm headed to bed. Good night!

Good things that happened today, besides old white:
  • It's Kate's B-day and we got to hang out with her for a while this evening.
  • Sydney climbed up stairs for the first time(not so sure this is good thing) =)
  • Got to see Jen before her birthday on Wednesday.
  • Don't have roots in my hair
  • I hear sleepy sounds from the monitor!

Good night moon!

Weekend

I really do think this happiness project is working on me. Because if one was to evaluate what has been going on around these parts, they might think we should be headed towards the looney-bin, but the reality of it is, that I'm not really stressed or upset. Weekend was great. Spent the weekend with just me and my girl. Lots of fun hugs and kisses and playing. We spent the morning with Steph and had brunch before picking up Daddy from the airport. Then it was full car searching mode. We didn't find anything unfortunately. And so trying to figure out how we're going to make it all work, we decided to just rent him a car for the week. Even though he's leaving in the morning for New Jersey till Wednesday. Cheaper and more convenient to do it that way. In any case I really do think the happiness project is working because I feel much happier even when things aren't going my way! Pretty good huh?? I've decided to bring back the happy things at the end of my blog... in order to not lose light of all the awesome things in my life.
1.) JB got engaged today... Super excited for him and so looks like another Kansas wedding next year.
2.) We found out a good friend that the last round of Invitro worked... and a good possibly with twins!!!
3.) We got three pieces of the baseboard cut today. With Craig out of town, I will be painting them after Sydney is asleep. I will have it looking good for the possible party this weekend.(Fingers crossed)
4.) Project DC is still going strong and I'm really enjoying it. Still have to hit up Aaron Brothers to frame a couple things, but everything is looking good. Actually on that note, Steph walked in this morning and was like... the book shelf looks really good. HAHAHAH... She noticed my project DC without even knowing I was doing project DC... =)
5.) I'm happy that I got to spend today with my husband, even though he is leaving us again in the morning. He was having a hard time with leaving again, but I was the strong one for the first time. Feels good to be needed, even when he didn't know he needed me.

Alright... I have to get to bed. We're trying to go to bed a little earlier each night. I start my new yoga class next week... I'll let you know how it goes!

Good night moon!

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are going good. It unfortunately runs right about time for the morning nap, so Miss Syd is sometimes cranker pants. Here are a few pics from the first lesson. I love when she goes under water.... Her face is so innocent when she's coming out. Like... "What just happened?" =) FUN!

My beautiful girl

I am so excited because we got a few of Sydney's 1 year pictures back and I'm absolutely in love!
Here are a few of my absolute favorites... I'm in love!

Op DC

So I'm happy to report I've gone through a lot of the stuff at our house and we are definitely moving in the right direction. I totally minimalized all my frames. I've put up a lot of Syd's stuff and we've organized both craig's and my closet. I think my jewelery and night stands are next, and the vases. Why oh why do I have so many??? Wish me luck!
Someone is getting sentimental about putting away the baby tub. We pulled her around the house, we've let her play in it for hours... It makes me sad too that she's growing up.

Operation DC is going good. Share some pics soon!

Operation De-clutter

For those that know me, they know that I have a lot of stuff. I don't know why, I don't know how, but I do. Craig and i have been talking about this a lot and we've finally decided that it is time. It is a mental thing more than anything. We've already gone through the office closet and gave a lot of stuff to good will. If we don't use it, don't wear, don't need it, then its going out. The last one is the toughest. Its easy to give up an old jacket you haven't worn in years or a nick-nack that was given to you, but for me there is a lot of stuff we have that we really just don't need. For instance... our house has a lot of pictures in frames. This morning, I've cleared them all out. I of course kept the pictures and have put them in a picture box to some day put in an album, but there is just no need to have pictures around from forever. The goodies will be transfered into newer frames that can go on the wall, but there is just no need to have this many.
Second, we're given up piles of stuff. I don't know if we're alone in this, but we get piles of stuff that you're like... what is this? Some mail, maybe a picture or letter, or something, that at one point you wanted to keep, but not any more. Not in our house.

I'm excited for you all to come visit in a few weeks when project De-clutter is complete. I think you will be surprised. Eeeekkk... One room at a time. =)

Okay, enough talking and more doing! Wish me luck.

Shrimp

Our first swim class was a success. I'll post pictures in a bit! Fun!

Design Mom

My story got published on DesignMom.com. Kind of fun!

Manchu Picchu

So I'm really bummed right now. The group I signed up to go on the hike Manchu Picchu is full. Can you F-ing believe it? I have a non-refundable plane ticket, and the other 7 girls got into the tour group hiking up to Manchu Picchu. I'm trying to decide if I should still go by myself. Anyone out there want to go to hike Manchu Pichu with me? I'm so f-ing bummed. Four day hike. Should be an experience of a lifetime. Anyone??? I don't know what to do. What would you do?

Syd's 1 Year Pics

After a jammed packed weekend, we went yesterday and had Syd's 1 year pics. Although we haven't gotten them back yet, I'm super excited because our photographer has posted some on her website. Here are a few of the pics so far. If you ever need a great photographer, I highly recommend her: http://www.petitefeetphotography.com
